he really is beautiful. what a hard and brave thing to do, i am so proud of her too!
and i wish steve and i had some of the genes that produce amazing hair like that. man, our kids got screwed.

adoption is pretty powerful--our friends adopted 2 years ago and i cried like it was my own birth. good stuff
The gorgeous young women holding the baby is my niece, she's amazing, and like every other women in my family had an easy perfect pregnancy and labor. (sigh) I don't know the adoptive family and I'm not sure if it's kosher to post their name, but I do know they are ridiculously lucky. I wanted to take him home with me!
