The Big Snip

I can't be certain, but I think I'm having what I like to call a mid-twenties crisis. I've been ping-ponging this idea around for a while now. However before today, Ford Tough, a BFF that doubles as my personal stylist who keeps me A-listed, hasn't felt that I was emotionally ready for the big snip. Which is OK, because I trust her with my hair, which is basically like saying I would trust her to raise my first born child if the unthinkable happened. But today, today was different. Proof: I didn't even cry. That much. During the cut Tiff kept saying "you're being such a big girl," and "I'm so proud of you" (she's mother to a one-year old). Legzz was there too and documented the whole thing. She also helped talk me into and through it. So, like, what's the big deal you ask? Well, I'm 25 and my hair has never been above my shoulders, MY WHOLE LIFE. So back off, it was a big day. P.S. I love it! Change is good.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments! I am still getting used to the new do and double-take when I walk past a mirror. The novelty hasn't worn off for Brad either, he now calls me "short-hair wifey."

awesome!!! it looks AMAZING! going short is definitely a scarey thing. i've had pretty long hair all my life and have gone short only twice-once when i was pregnant with nash. pregnancy will make you do anything to feel HOT again! so congrats on having the guts to do it without having the skyrocketing hormones. it really really does look so super cute. can't wait to see it in the real life!
