Huckleberry Milkshakes and Some Bison

Once again our hiking plans were thwarted by bad weather. Oh well. We weren't prepared to hike anywhere in the snow that's for sure. Thus, we didn't make the hike to Dunanda Falls to soak in the hot pots as we had hoped, but we made the most of our trip nonetheless. The SNOW was certainly unexpected, but it was so incredibly beautiful we couldn't help but love every minute we were there. The fall colors were amazing in Yellowstone especially near the Bechler region where there are so many Aspens. And we saw lots of serene wildlife, so no complaints here.

"bad weather" ?! That was, like, barely a dusting of snow. You are such a city girl...

Big Brother, in my defense, it was snowing MUCH harder early in the morning when we were about to start our hike. AND it was like 40 degrees for the high that day. So yeah, it was bad weather especially for a city girl.

I know you guys are from Utah and stuff but here in the Willamette valley that's enough snow to close the schools, did someone say "snowday"?

Great pictures, it looks like it was a fun trip.

Great pictures! You should for sure do a winter trip. Yellowstone in the winter is one of the funnest trips I've been on.

I am such a sucker for pictures. It looks like you guys had a great time. I especially like the first two tree pictures and the one of Brad crouched down taking pictures. You two should adopt Alex and I so we can come on your family trips. Let us know what you think.

Andy and Alex, we could probably work something out. But only if we can use the blow-up mattress in a few weeks when were are there.

It's a done deal. I think I like the sound of Andy Duncan.

I like it too...but I like Duncan Thomas even better. I think you should add it to your name poll. You could call him lil' Dunc.
