On Saturday my sister Marci and her hubby Rich ran the Squaw Peak 50 Mile Trail Run for the 4th time. I can not comprehend why someone would voluntarily subject themselves to this kind of torturous pain. But nevertheless, my sis is one tough chick.
Marci & Rich were hauling through falling snow & snow-packed trails in the a.m. Brook & I met them at the 26 mile aid station & served them a Jumba Juice. The Windy Pass at the 39 mile area is a 1 1/2mile climb up! They amazingly hauled down the mountains & finished in about 12 1/2 hours!!!
In two weeks they're off to Logan to run a relay with their running group to Park City, only 176 miles. Stay tuned.
Gina, you aren't interested in a job or know anyone who might be interested do you? It is a high stress job with great pay and fantastic benefits looking for someone with a good attitude who can handle chaos with problem solving and organization. - Let me know
Helene - I'm not currently looking for a job. Surprisingly, I'm content with where I'm at right now! You are so sweet to think of me though. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for someone who might be searching. When are you moving? What are you doing with the loft? So many questions...we need to hang out.
I do my very best on this blog to make us look perfect and insanely happy in every way. Which, indeed we are. However, you should also know that sometimes we disagree, we don't get everything we want or everything we pray for, I'm not a size 2, and our sink leaks. Amid all the craziness every day brings, we live each knowing that life is fair, it's just not over yet.

Man, a marathon seems like a brutal run, but 50 miles on a trail in the Mt. - That's intense.
