When BD cooks

W hen I got home this evening BD and I decided that we'd stay the night in. Sometimes Friday nights are just better at home, don't you agree? Plus, it saves money and I really like being in my pajamas. BD offered to cook us a pizza while I struggled with my first attempts at Facebook.* A few minutes later the oven is smoking and I look over to see BD standing over the source of the flame. All he said was "Ohhhhhhhhhh. Mmyyyyy. Gosssssh" very slowly as he realized what he had done. Apparently this is what happens WHEN YOU COOK A PLASTIC CUTTING BOARD.
We laughed. BD asked, are you going to blog about this? Um. Yeah. I love this man, even when he cooks.
Cafe Rio it would be. Oh, and honey, why don't you pick up some oven cleaner while you're out?

*You heard me! This 10 year reunion thing is just not going away. More on this tomorrow. Wanna be friends? {gag}

Yeah, and I don't even have the excuse that the cutting board looked like a cookie sheet!

Holy crap Brad! You should cook more often... or maybe not. I've got a pretty good idea of what you'll be doing this weekend. Have fun buddy.

Hahahaha! That made my night! Its a bit of the reason that I don't trust CJ in the kitchen.

(ps. I'm kinda happy that you're joining fb)

Oh I needed that belly laugh! and I can even hear BD saying it, and can see the pure look of "oh, no you didn't" look on your face before you decided to laugh instead of cry.

classic! I love it. At least he gave it a whirl, right? So you hate me...well I hate me! Email Gina has been on my to do list FOREVER! It doesn't get done because I think "I need a good chunk of time to email my dearest friend Gina" and therefore it gets put off. So today was the day...at last! then I go to email you and I don't have your address! What?! NO! So I know you might not believe me but I REALLY want to get back to you! Would you be willing to give an old girl another shot? Once again my email is maggieanne13@hotmail.com. I will get back to you ASAP!

Bradlee I am sure you thought that was microsafe plastic - they make that stuff don't they? From one cook to another, I guess plastic and cats don't belong in the oven. Well the pizza still looked good on top :) Hang in there, it can only get better.
